Assistive Technology: Provide training on the use of various assistive devices such as electronic travel aids (ETAs), GPS devices, and other adaptive mobility devices (AMDs) to enhance mobility. 

Environmental Modifications: Assess and recommend modifications to homes, schools, and workplaces to improve safety and accessibility for individuals with visual impairments. 

Route Planning: Assist clients in developing strategies for planning and traveling safely and efficiently in both familiar and unfamiliar environments, such as commuting to work or school. 

Collaboration: Work with other professionals and community members, such as city planners, to advocate for safer environments for pedestrians with visual impairments.
