What do Music Therapists do?

Music therapists are board-certified professionals who utilize music-based interventions to enhance the physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual well-being of individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

They assess clients’ needs and design tailored sessions that involve activities such as listening to music, improvising, playing instruments, and songwriting.

These sessions help patients with conditions like developmental disorders, mental health issues, and neurological conditions manage their health and enhance their quality of life.

Support Various Needs: They work with a wide range of individuals and conditions, including:

  • Mental and developmental disorders
  • Neurological conditions and trauma
