What do Massage Therapists do?

Massage therapists use physical touch to manipulate soft body tissues, relieving pain, reducing stress, healing injuries, and enhancing overall physical and emotional well-being.

They consult with clients about their medical history and treatment goals, assess their bodies to find tense areas, and then use various massage techniques and tools—such as hands, fingers, forearms, and lotions—to provide relief. Massage therapists also often provide guidance on stretching, posture, and strengthening to promote continued wellness.
