What do Home Health Registered Respiratory Therapists do?

Home Health Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) provide in-home care for patients with chronic or acute respiratory illnesses, including COPD, asthma, and sleep apnea.

Their duties include developing care plans, educating patients and families on disease management and equipment use (such as ventilators), administering inhalation therapies, maintaining respiratory devices, and monitoring patient progress to improve their quality of life and minimize hospital visits.
