Connecticut Administrative Actions

The Department of Social Services (DSS) Office of Quality Assurance is the agency that administers the state’s Medicaid program.

To ensure existing employees or contractors, and new hires have not been excluded from participation in the Medicaid program, providers participating or applying to participate in the Medicaid program must search the following exclusion lists monthly:

  • Connecticut Quality Assurance Administrative Actions List
  • Health & Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE)
  • General Services Administration (GSA) System for Award Management (SAM)

HealthProviders DB imports the Connecticut Quality Assurance Administrative Actions monthly, so the database is always up to date. The exclusions are normalized and matched with the Healthcare Providers’ Profile as Exact or Possible matches, greatly simplifying your research.

Excluded individuals or entities, even if they are not on the Connecticut Quality Assurance Administrative Actions List, are excluded from participating in the Medicaid program in all categories of service. They are not allowed to receive reimbursement for providing Medicare and Medicaid services in any capacity.

HealthProviders DB is an unparalleled solution to effortlessly and simultaneously search OIG Exclusions, SAM Exclusions, State Exclusion Lists, FDA Debarment, and Clinical Investigators—Disqualification Proceedings—all in one powerful platform!
